TRANSITIONAL STYLE KITCHEN
This family of five loved their home but were finding the existing kitchen and dining area to be small and dysfunctional. In addition to the outdated kitchen, the floor plan was also awkward with small closed off rooms which did not allow for the family to cook and comfortably hang out together. While they knew a kitchen renovation was necessary, they requested help with the rethinking the layout of the entire ground floor to open it up to make it more spacious and functional. Considerations for the new floor plan included traffic patterns, different work zones for the kitchen area, relocating the entrance to the backyard to allow for a better kitchen layout as well as a more functional living area with a fireplace. After debating the pros and cons of several different layouts, the family landed on their dream layout and proceeded to work with their General Contractor and Olympic Kitchens to create this beautiful open concept ground floor space.
