The bones of this family room were good but the finishes and furnishings needed some updating. Given a tight budget, the focus
of this project was to bring this room up to date without “renovating”. The broadloom carpet was removed and replaced with
oak hardwood flooring that was finished onsite. The existing couch was slip covered in a beautiful red fabric and new throw
cushions and rug were added. The room was also painted in a light grey colour and additional accessories and art were used to
pull the new colour scheme together. The end result – a colourful, comfortable and updated family room.
